Hey, It’s Coach Michele! I got the goods on why collagen is one of my BFFs since I have seen a dramatic difference in my own hair and nails! I’m going to dish out the deets on why collagen is worth a shot when it comes to your achy  joints, and overall glow-up!  It has been the ultimate game changer for me personally!

Come in for the huddle…collagen is like the glue that holds our body together, literally. It’s the most abundant protein in your body, found in your skin, bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. But here’s the kicker: as we age, our collagen production decreases, and we start to see aging skin and feel achy joints!

I want to enjoy life, greats & grands, dance, cheerleading….you get the picture, so NO THANKS!
So here’s what I did….I started taking a collagen supplement. I will link my favorite kind here. It wasn’t overnight, but with consistent use, my hair started coming in more at my widows peak, where I had lost a bunch and my nails grew! WOOHOO!

Now, if I am going to use something, it has to be accessible and affordable. The particular collagen I use is right on Amazon so it is accessible and is affordable in my book, compared to some that I have seen. I usually stir it in my oatmeal, tea or smoothies and never taste it!

Before Consistent Collagen
After Consistent Collagen

Here are some of the benefits of collagen:

Glowing Skin: Let’s get our glow back! Collagen promotes skin elasticity, hydration, and firmness, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Filters….look out!

Joint Support: Are you tight when you get up from sitting? Especially those hip flexors? Collagen acts as a cushion for your joints, reducing pain, stiffness, and inflammation. Get ready to bust a move!

Gut Health: Collagen helps repair the lining of your gut, supporting digestion and reducing inflammation. Hello happy stomach!

Different people will tell you different things about collagen. Of course contact your doctor. What I can tell you from personal experience is, I am glad I did and my personal results speak for themselves.

Here are some other ways to add collagen into your life:

Food Sources: Bone broth, wild-caught fish, grass-fed beef. Things you might already be eating.

Skincare: Collagen-infused creams and serums to give your skin that extra boost of love from the outside in. I love my collagen eye cream! I replaced my favorite eye cream because of this one. It has made a difference.

Final Thoughts: There you have it team! Collagen has been a game changer for me, so I am wanted to share it with you! If you try it out, let me know what you think! Oh and that eye cream….seriously one of my loves and it’s handmade with no toxic chemicals….another reason I love it.

Go Crush It!
